OH is telling me to go for it, I don't think I'm good enough. That's why I dismissed it in the first place...Gah.
It's so quiet here today...
SAucy.... have you tried Amazon.... probably! Stupid suggestion..
Well, so much for saving a £1 today.... I've just ordered a new hoover. Nothing wrong with my current dyson apart from a recall, where dyson offered to replace the bit thats recalled FOC or have an upgrade to a new machine with an additional turbine head for £85

So angry, left the iron on and forgot about it for about an hour .
OH's at his grans funeral today. Dropped him at a park n ride and was about to drive away when he told me he didn;t have any money then wasn't happy when I told him I didn't have my purse. So I'm the bad person :mad: (yet I just found out over the last month he has spent £70 on crap in Tesco's on his CC and hid it from me!! and by crap I mean sandwiches food etc - no wonder my budget is out, now skint cos I bought the bairns birthday ARGH :mad::mad:)
And to top it off I said he could take some of my college money for new clothes, after this I told him no way but he can't see what he did wrong? I cleared 5k of his debt but I'm in the wrong because I get to have a gym membership? He has xbox live, numerous xbox games, pc etc but because I want to get fit and generally feel better about myself he feels the need to moan YET I could spend the £23 a month on sweets/alcohol and he wouldn't bat an eyelid!!!!!0 -

WOuld love to Elly but they want it back!...
I though £85 for a new dyson and turbine head thingy was quite good, my old one is about 8 years old.....
Is you can afford to buy one they are well worth the money, 5 year gte, and after that they service them for about £70. I had mine serviced about 2 years ago and the engineer replaced wheels, hoses, motor, any scratched plastic, filters....it was pretty much a new machine!sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0 -
NLID, thanks, thats true. I think I'll do it.
I guess I just feel bad spending money on myself...It's much easier to spend it on OH.
Puppy is happy, by the way, and in no pain. I just wanted to point that out.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Afternoon all.
Hope all are well and enjoying your Friday.
I got a lovely letter in the post this morning. It's from Totesport. I have an account with them (I like a little dabble on the horses every now and again). This letter asks me to go on to their site and watch a new ad for their casino betting, which they're about to put on the tv, and review it. For that you will be credited £25 FOC to play with! I'm a bit scared though because I've never been on a casino betting website. I am very much a dabbler rather than a gambler.
Ok, going to review and play now.
Will come back later and let you know how I get on.
See you all soon.

Its been cut up. Just can't believe he done it, that £70 was for the bairns birthday. He's starting to make it obvious that he doesn't care about anyone other than himself!!0 -
I got a good deal on one of the books on Ebay
(Well, the seller has agreed to a good BIN, if they put it up) so I've saved about half the cost on the most expensive one.
Nikki, I don't really have any advice, but I feel for you. My OH is the opposite with credit, he has a card but won't use it, he hates being in debt. Was he sorry? £70 on food is pretty rubbish, but if his card is gone now, and he pays it back and is sorry, I guess theres no real harm done if you are didn't need the money urgently for something else. If you did, get him to sell some stuff to make it up...or clean cars or something. Prrfftt, I'm rubbish with advice!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
