Hi Munchki,we are the same we have made a massive inroad into our debt but still 4 cc to go and dont think i'll be happy untill they are gone with Mr Cameron in charge I'm going to lose tax credits and so think for the next 5 months I am going to purely pull an extra shift a week and pay it purely into my cc as that was my original goal .
Personally i think you have hit so many personal goals that the £10,000 is insignificant and as you say if you can pay for this years chrimbo I think you will be a happy bunny and so you should be!So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x0 -
hey jo nip to you and a wish to me we always say the same but your version is sweeter lolSo finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x0

awww thank you Jo, I feel the same about you and everyone else. every single person on here has added something very special to our little world and some of us have made some lasting friendships and done things we never thought we could or would ever do and I am so proud of everyone. It really is a thing that at times when we cant see for ourselves our talents, skills or even have the belief in ourselves there is always someone around for us to lean on and be our strength when we need it and cant quite fine enough of our own.
hmmmm I am probably the only person that knows what I am trying to say! lol

hey my oh has made £177 from quidco hes been paid Joey he has his going in monthly now i reckon this is mine as he wouldnt know about quidco if it wasnt for the dribblers we discussed it earlier and i'm going to put my topcash in the same account we want a cash reserve of £1000 which would be better off in the cc however after the times we have had lately I think we both just need the security of actual cash .When I get back from holiday I'm going to work off good old fashioned housekeeping wonder if i'll last a week lolSo finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x0

Elly we are setting up an emergency fund before starting on the debts. may not be 1k but will be near that hopefully. £450-ish to start with.

Elly, the last several months have taught me so much about life, love, what is important and what is not! Where I want to be, what kind of life I want and more importantly it taught me value...again not in a monetary way but in a life way. I have all I need in my life right now, well for the most part anyway...someone special would be nice as well to share it with but all in good time!
Once my divorce is officially over I will know the true extent of the financial implications of things and then will be better able to decide which course of action is best to take. I call it my last huge hurdle and I will get through it, I have learned I am stronger than I ever thought or gave myself credit for.
hmmmm that gives me a thought
I have learned I have a greater strength to overcome and deal with aversion and learned I have more talents than I thought
What have each of you learned so far this year about yourself??I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -

seriously have learnt so much but can't keep my eyes open enough or brain engaged enough to write a post on it now but will do soon.
