    Not tried the post office but will have a look. Its not up for another 6 weeks so not got my renewal quote from tesco yet. I'd quite like to stay with them tbh as they have been brilliant plus all the extra clubcard points are good. Just hoping they dont put it up much more. I already pay £42.39 a month for my insurance as it is. On benefits its so difficult.

    Hey Nixi, just want to try and reassure you that he will be learning wrong from right from you and DH and your attitudes to things especially at this age. as he gets older peers can reduce the impact of that but if he trusts you as a partner in his life he is more likely to come to you and discuss things he is not sure about rather than blindly follow his peers.
    Also I am not saying never tell him off or any such thing but research has shown that the vast majority of children only remember the telling off over time and not what it was about. yes there may be certain times that stick out but mainly it is the memory of the feelings of the telling off and not the parents reasons for it that stick with them. so the best teaching moments are the positive life you are living with him.
    That is not to say don't tell him off - just to say the rest of what you are doing with him is the biggest influence on him.

    Lol Jo, no I shan't be using them! lol. I nearly spat my drink everywhere when that came up. I've been driving for 4.5 years now, never had a claim, never had an accident. Unfortunately I only have 1 years no claims though as I can't get the certificates from the other insurers I used before. I think the thing that is bumping it up is having DP on my insurance as he is a mechanic, it doesn't seem to like that at all. I can't really take him off it though :(

    Evening all :) What a beautiful Midsummers day.
    Jo did you ever think of going into educational psychology? You'd be perfect in my humble opinion!
    Hope everyone's ok? I'm home now which is nice, it's always good to get back. I had 3 migraines while i was on holiday, i don't think i drank enough water but i also tend to stress myself out a bit when i'm away. And when i'm not actually.
    Babymoo - we're with Tesco, i was reluctant to go with them but they were far cheaper than any other quote we had.
    Hello everyone else - it's been so quiet on here recently.
    Ooh Mambury - i bought some socks from you :) On OH's ebay account so don't worry he's not a dodgy guy wanting you to wear them first - i'll have a clean pair please haha :)

    P.s. has anyone been watching big bro? Not sure whether to bother getting into it or not?
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.
