hi guys does anyone know when companies do a credit check do they get told how much you owe and to which companies or just if you pay regularly my crazy friend who slagged me off for moving out of a nice area has gone and got another cc and i can only think she lied about how much she owes but she does her mininimum repayments and got it .

I dont think they know how much you owe just any defaults but could be wrong.

I think the credit checks see whether you default on anything. So if you have loadsa Credit but always pay everything back in time long as you don't apply for loads within a certain time, 6 months I think it is then you will be ok. I could be wrong though but that is my understanding of it lol.

I wanna sit in the garden but stepdad is cleaning the patio so I can't :( I am doing more to website instead lol.

Elly I'm really not sure but I think it does show how much you owe but not how much you have available ie credit limits.
Was it you Elly who talked about using pallets for fencing??

hi jo yes hubby cut them up with circular saw ,but you can dismantle them and use thick bits as post and then thin bits as fencing across the way .it has worked so far houdini better known as poppy hasnt got out since.
Hi jo i asked about credit cards as hubby and i have 2 left each after move and thought if we could balance transfer it would just be like a loan and we would clear them friend got a really good deal and our credit ratings good ,unfortunately reckon friend will just go on a spree .
I think they know how much credit limit is but not what you owe as someone highlighted once that i had a freemans and next account and that they added to my available credit even though i hadnt used them ,bank didnt sem to have a clue what we owed when we spoke to them but did seem to know what credit was available
