munchki - the nails thing sounds great. yay for your giant jump.
places I used to go on my own - not often but occasionally included cinema, park with a book, cafe with a magazine, salsa dancing class (one where no partner required as everyone just moved round the room and danced with everyone in turn) summer school art week, swimming, keep fit - can't think of anymore!
sometimes I found it easy and at other times in my life I didn't and I too had times when the door and maybe even the curtains stayed shut.lol.
Glad you are starting to come out of the poorliness now.
    Hugs

Mambury - colour is much better!! As far as the pix-elation is concerned - as far as I am aware that normally means an image is being used larger than it is designed for, so if you make it smaller it should look fine. Basically think if a picture is made up of lots of small dots the more you stretch it the more separated the dots are and so more pronounced they become - so my logic tells me that your text is actually being displayed as an image. Is it? If so the only answer is to use it smaller or make a new image with a higher resolution (number of pixels) and then it can be used as a bigger picture. Not sure any of that actually makes sense, and if it is actually text then it is completely wrong and I have no idea....but I have tried to help :D lol!
