Hi Everyone!
Well woke up this morning still feeling a bit sluggish, so took my time getting up, puttered about the flat a bit, had a shower and went off to work. Started to feel better as the day went on and now feel pretty much back to normal. So glad the bug has gone away now!!
Babymoo...thank you for that! I was not down so to speak, but more like seriously under the weather and feeling a b it sorry for myself!
Nixi - Count me in please!
Right off to catch up on reading what I have missed.
Have Nigel (the mechanic) coming over in about an hour. He is kindly going to connect my cooker WOOHOO!!! that means I get to start cooking and baking again!!!! Can hardly wait lol. They are both rather huge passions of mine and of course am sure will see much more of my son and his gf now as well ROTFL!
Back in a bit, going to catch up on all I have missed the past few days.
Oh yes, nearly forgot....for my Giant Jump this week.....for me it is going out alone to anywhere other than asda or the local shop. For whatever reason it terrifies me now and I just feel very out of place unless I am with someone. I am pretty much sure I know why it is that I feel like this, much to do with all the control etc of the past marriage. However, going to try and get out this weekend on saturday morning. I really think it is time to treat myself a bit after the past several months, so may go have my nails done, acrylics or gel, we shall see and by doing so it means I also have to get out of the flat and be amongst other for a few hours. Really wanted to go to the pub tomorrow to watch footie but cant convince myself to do that alone at all yet! Mostly because I personally dont think it looks right for a girl on her own in a pub. perhaps I am wrong!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Sometimes we just have to step out of that comfort zone to do things. If the Pub is busy, they will probably not even notice that you have gone in on your own!. Just find a seat (if there not all full) and enjoy the match!. There are plenty of us single people who do go into pubs on thier own. I have done it often. But I admit I prefer to go where I know that I will know someone. Even if it is only the staff!. It all takes time. Good luck with your venture to finding the new you.!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
