Why does looking at holidays and the thought of actually taking a proper holiday not only scare me to death but actually makes me cry? I must be totally daft lol!

How is everyone tonight? Am starting to feel almost alive again, ever so slowly, more tired than anything now. One more day to go then the weekend. No plans whatsoever, think it is just going to be a stay inside kind of one.

Finally caught up with the posts...wow.....certainly sounds like several have been very busy, really moving things ahead and making some great strides. Well done and a giant hooray to everyone this evening....

No thats a good idea Jo-hadnt thought of that and I think I could actually do that myself! She is a 'proper' web person but the site was built on a budget using a lot of different plug ins etc which dont necessarily do what you want them to do without hours of work which i couldnt afford to pay her for. I will have a go at that tomorrow!! Cheers hun!

Mabel, I seem to do ok when I know I am going to see someone so to speak........I think it is the inevitable of realising that if I am ever going to have a proper holiday again of any sort longer than a long weekend I am going to have to do it alone......just dont like the thought I suppose..... yes, think I have been doing too much thinking again today lol

a certain toots and others all have lives of their own, and I am just learning to relive mine again now. Will be fine, just think I am still destressing a lot. So much has happened, feeling a bit low but pretty sure it is because I feel rather rubbish over the past few days. lol Bye monday hopefully this silly bug with go off to bother someone else for awhile hehehehh. Honestly not complaining here etc, more like just this bliddy bug I have! Rather strange but overall, I am incredibly happy with life and all that goes with it. New chapter now with lots of new experiences to explore!

Munchki - you never know what is round the corner. "if ever" is a long time. I don't necessarily mean you might suddenly find yourself part of a couple but may well find someone to go on holiday with. I know at least four people who have either divorced or been widowed who felt similar about holidays and who quite by chance met people or people they already knew who also wanted a holiday but not on their own and just went for it and had a ball. there may well be women you don't know yet who would be absolutely the right people to go on holiday with.
I also know people who go on holiday on their own and love it too.
but you really do not know for certain that the only way you will ever go on a proper holiday again is on your own hun. thats a big thing to think. hugs

You are so right Jo, and yes I do know that as well. When I feel a bit under the weather, suppose I am like most people, feel a bit sorry for yourself and then start thinking far too much lol........one day my brain really will just switch off for a little while.

think it is just that time of year when you are at work and everyone is asking and talking about holiday and you suddenly realise that you have not had a proper one in nearly 3 years, just gets you to thinking I suppose. In everything else, life is fantastic!
