Nite everyone who is or has gone to bed!!! sweet and magical dreams.
Jo, yes it is really sad. they currently have him in a drug induced coma and on life support in the hopes that his body will heal, tests however at mo are not good. Convinced my friend that he needed a serious couple of days away to regroup etc and out of the blue yesterday he phoned to say he was coming up for a few days! I will do nothing but try and make him laugh and give lots of cuddles and a shoulder to lean and cry on when he is here. Friendship really can be and is a very powerful force.I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -

Morning all. Feel lousy today - one of the little herberts has given me a rotten cold. I don't succumb to much, but I could tell this one was going to get through my defences.
Will take today easy and try to fight it off as I have a first aid course all day tomorrow and I don't want to give it to everyone there.
Off to get brekkie and dig the kid out of her pit.0 -
Morning all :-) Hope the tomatoes are ok Rosie-I'm planning on planting out my runner beans and peas later so hope its not too cold :-/
Hope you get rid of the cold soon 2cats :-(
Best wishes to your friends cousin Munchki-really hope he is ok in the end.0 -
Toots - fantastic news, really really glad for you
have missed seeing your cheery posts!
Em, I want to do the cheque thing now!
Munchki, sorry about your bad news, that's horrible. Hope he recovers soon. My thing to make a stranger smile is the kids, they make everyone laugh on the bus etc, especially when DD1 goes up to people and asks them fifty questions about themselves. I do encourage them though, the old ladies especially love it
Well my antidepressants have calmed down, unsure about them still but less dopey, have got the attention deficit thing in mind and my progress this week is this;
-have discussed fostering with OH and we have agreed we need to be at least a year on, driving, and in a different house.
-have just about nailed driving theory and am going to put in for the test;
-OH has found me some 2 day courses on the safeguarding/emotional wellbeing/protection of children, so can do them and feel like I'm aiming towards where I want to go;
-CRB for volunteering is through so am going to arrange some Surestart sessions.
-eating has calmed down, back on points, yay!
Am completely going to exhaust my babysitting favours but once I'm driving will be able to take one friend grocery shopping and... well I'll have to buy the other one some chocolates or something.
Elly, if you want to PM me I'll get going on it, feel fine now and thank you very much for being patient! Ooh Munchki need to PM you. Off to see what I can manage from Weezl's thread and make a shopping list, hugs to all, back later! xx xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0
