    Hi Em,
glad the bush made you laugh.
The work stuff sounds really positive.
A friend of DH's rang up tonight and I was chatting about her hens on their allotment who have now got baby chicks and she said oh and we've got ducklings as well and they are black indian runner ducklings. So I am going to visit them really soon to pick her brains too.
getting excited cos it all seems to be coming together in that "meant to be" kind of way. Not that I am getting ducklings from her but someone in real life to chat to and real ones to see. yay.
Sorry if me chatting about this is too painful Em but I really want to share it. If its too much say and I will refrain. and be honest.
Nixi its not sad to feel your giant jump is making a difference. its a nice feeling - enjoy it.

Jo it's not painful at all - honest - i feel excited for you too, i know how i felt before we got ours and i'm still thinking we might get some more when things settle down a bit for us. I only have happy thoughts now when i think of our ducks, i'm quite good at blocking out negative stuff. My ducks had a great life, albeit too short. We've learned a lot too and i'm happy to share any info that might help you - but might need prompting with questions as i can be forgetful at times :) x

    Hi Hales!!
Thanks Em, will be back with questions I'm sure.
well actually first ones. did your ducks have wings clipped and did you have a run for them?
    There you are.
