Sounds like you had lots of fun Joey! I'm so jealous of your knees with those kitties snuggled in! I will throw my tuppenceworth in though, whether you like it or not, to say that in my humble opinion, you reallllllly don't need to be dieting, please be careful! *hug*
I'm off now, have just woken DD and will let her meander about and get sorted before I have to take her along to the school at 2am. Of course tonight I feel like I could have gone to bed nice and early, just typical! Have work tomorrow then I'll need to wait up till she comes home, so hope they don't arrive a lot later than the midnight they anticipate! Yikes!!
Night night sleep tight all.

Skint please add £3 to my target as I didn't go near a shop yesterday and took my own food in to work, so saved dinner money.

Morning All,
Massive hugs I have missed you all – it has just been one of those fortnights really I have been stupidly busy. But, let me start with the catch up
Mambury – Massive belated born day wishes, and the birthday bumps. Also thanks so much for those fabric links they are fab!
NLID – Happy anniversary congrats to you and your lady. My guilty pleasure is my DJ equipment but, that is the only treat that I have left and I can’t bare to part with them at the moment. I know that they are worth a few bob, but music is my big love and the decks are my special treat for me. I love them. And Marks and Spencer food!
2cats – Glad that you are getting back into the scrapbooking.
Munchki – The quillows I don’t know – they are made from scratch I would expect to spend £60 - £70 maybe more I don’t know hun. Ha! Not too helpful is it. Also, I love retro prints, liberty prints and Cath Kidston stuff.
Nixi – got you linkedin invite, I will confirm you as soon as I get a chance. Hope you are feeling better too.
Saucy – hugs and a wave, hope that you do get to go to Spain too. Glad you are sorting your insurance claim.
Well done to Skint for the idea, and everyone else for making some money on the posse challenge!
Babymoo – well done on the Xmas shopping – I am starting mine too, the more I can do now – the better. Hope you are feeling better too.
Craftytoots – hooray for homecoming!
Joeygrey – cornflake crispies & lemon meringues – can I be your niece please?
As for me, busy, busy, busy, and oh yeah busy, I have been trying to get work done but it has been a bit of a hit and miss affair. I gave myself a partial weekend off as I have been super tired, then at work I had someone training with me yesterday which was a bit of an annoyance as i could barely get any computer time and she would not stop talking. I mean non – stop!!!
Had errors on the blog I will probably have to move the site to another server as I keep getting database errors and it has nowt to do with the wordpress script.
Got some private work that I need to keep on top of also then add housework to the mix and a few other bits and pieces and voila – a busy and stressy Dilli.
I really need to keep to my schedule and to do list. Ooh the newspaper feature/ad came out but it was a pile of poop to be honest. They didn’t use my artwork and it appeared so far back in the paper that it was pointless. Lesson learnt it could always be worse so I am just going to count my blessings and stop the griping.
Hugs and best to all and I will actually be around today.10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000

Morning all. Won't be back till Saturday now as we are off to Stratford to the RSC tonight (Romeo & Juliet) and then down to Caerphilly to visit friends we haven't seen in donkey's years but have got back in touch with on FB. I am so glad that DD is of an age now when she can go to Shakespeare and that she enjoys it (she is always asking when we can go again) as I love it. It was David Tennant doing a season at the RSC that was the breakthrough : she wanted to see DT and since then she wants to see the Shakespeare for itself. Her English teachers think she is marvellous LOL. I'm always pleasantly surprised at the ticket prices too, when you consider what a West End show costs - guess they are maybe subsidised or something. And Stratford is a nice place just to wander round as well (and there's a scrapbook shop!!!).
Anyway, see you all soon. Have a good few days money making/saving without me.0 -
Hi all
finally got back to the forum after wading my way through a mountain of washing after a weekend away!
On the moneymaking side, Google have just paid me (for adsense) - took me over a year to get to the £60 pay out level! So not quite celebrating yet , oh and I sold a book on Amazon netting me £1.59 - wooooo! (NOT).
I think I need a working life makeover- have 2 part-time jobs each with quite a few drawbacks - DH wants me to ditch at least one of them before I'm due to go back in September - just don't know what to replace that (very little) bit of income with. I had fond ideas that Ebaying may help - but I'm a bit tired of all their rules and regulations - and I'm only selling household junk/my clothes at the mo- if it was my main source of income I think it's a bit risky - they seem to be able to pull the plug on us all so easily!
DH wants me to design my own website (in Wordpress, he says it's easy) to sell stuff- I see massive drawbacks (I always do!) - may take me a decade to design it, don't really know what I'd sell, won't get enough traffic etc., etc.,
Oh dear - it's a lovely sunny day outside, I can hear a blackbird singing and I'm being all negative - feel a bit pathetic! There are much worse things to get depressed about as the news last night/this morning proves only too well. Better pull myself together and make a cup of coffee - but without the biscuit - as my Dribblers' weight loss is not happening either!0 -
oo 2cats - have a good time in Stratford. It is one of those places which is right on my doorstep and we never seem to go to....mind you that is probably because whenever the weather is gorgeous it is full of tourists(!) and becomes a nightmare for parking etc and we can never be bothered when the weather isn't great. It is nice though - you can wander round the shops which is a nice mix of high street and independents, or go for a walk by the river, visit al the shakespeare houses, there is a fantastic children's playground, nice pubs and restaurants......... and you have a lovely day for it too. Enjoy!Life is a work in progress0

I seem to have lost my dribble ... oh dear. Glad to see you're all keeping things going though!0

ok flying visit just had to share am so gobsmacked been thinking on how to promote business so went in to the local sandwich shop this morning and asked if i could display a dummy cake in the window, lo and behold he has asked if i could supply tray bakes as he sells alot of these and he would buy them off me and is only too happy to display my cakes! woohoo just have to work it all out and have told i would get back to him afer i had worked it all out, guess what i'll be doing this weekend!. Do you think i should make up a sample of muffins, tablet, cupcakes, lemon drizzle, cookies etc and see if he wants to stock some of that? totally other end of town from sewing shop (not that this is a big town) so hopefully get in there too!!!
will add up totals for posse later this evening
