ok Tuesdays very late mini move for May.
Take one part of or all of a dribbling to 10k project and do a reverse calendar for it.
ie. take the end goal and then look at the steps that would need to be in place immediately before it for it to happen and then take each of theses steps and see what would need to happen before them in order for them to happen.
eg end goal is open a shop. prior to that you would need trained staff, fitted oout premises, stock on shelves.
then take each of those eg. trained staff. you would need staff and a training programme for them.
then take each of those. prior to staff you would need interviews. and prior to training programme you would need a plan for how the shop will function etc.
This can be time consuming so maybe do it for the part of your project that is still holding you back. you kind of end up with atree branching backwards with lots of possible starting places at the end tips of the branches.
non of these are wrong or right starting places so start with the easiest and most appealling and jump in.

Hi everyone (been dropping in to try and keep up with you all occasionally)- but not really been on here in a while :( - toooooo much to do with clearing FIL's home out and now I'm (fairly successfully) selling the DVDs and CDs on Amazon - slow but steady (pity it's not contributing to my £10k this year).
So, my money making has been on hold a bit. Sold a few things on Ebay after last free listing day - pity one of my buyers insists she hasn't had her item tho' and now wants a refund - a few give away remarks in her message make me think she actually has received it- - but, hey there's nothing I can do. I got proof of posting and the Post office have given me a form which requires the Ebay number and the paypal print out of her payment - is this new? Does it mean I'll get all the money back? Hope so - it was not one of my usual 99p deals!
When I get more time I have to decide what I'm really going to do/sell for a serious income. DH keeps telling me I need a website and that Wordpress is so easy to build a site in that I should give it a go - mmm when I get a minute - and when I come with an idea!!!!!
    back soon I hope!

Welcome home Mrs Money!! nice to have you back hun.

Thanks for the mini move Jo, mine all comes back to my website so I guess blogging , making new stuff and sorting out decent photos are my first steps. Unfortunately decent photos involve money so that ones out for now!

can you take those first steps back even further MM. so blogging might involve coming up with a list of potential topics, identifying a specific time to do a post, etc
making new pieces moght involve having the right stuff which in turn means knowing the sort of pieces you want to do, which may involve looking for inspiration etc.
Photos cost money is that cos you want abetter camera or you want someone to take them for you?
want a better camera how about asking on freegle etc for loan of one or loan of someone. or advertising a wanted ad for someone to take photos in return for a small piece of jewellery or a blog piece about their business. or contact local college and see if students on photography course will do it in return for a write up on your blog?
