Honestly MoneyM I have a complete different weekend schedule. Also strange but true fact, if you want to change your body's sleep clock stop eating 16 hours before the time that you want to wake up.

Have had a really lovely day, it's been gorgeous, did some digging in the garden at my friend's and we now have stepping stones (some of the bricks we kept digging up painted white) dividing the front bit into a herb bit and a flower bit. I suggested we continue the stepping stones and have a sensory bit at the front but all I could think of was lavender and she hates it! But after today her front bit of garden looks cared for if not perfect :) very happy with how we've turned it around, the potato plants are coming up well and my two girls ended up in nothing but pants/nappy and shoes, with Freyja covered in streaky mud from the soil she kept tipping onto herself sticking to the sun lotion and melted ice lolly she'd dribbled down herself! At one point she had hold of the stick we use to throw the dog's ball, and was having a sulk because he was too hot to chase it, and she looked like a little tribal child holding a spear, wish I'd had a camera :) what a brilliant day! And fish and chips for tea so not diet-friendly or moneysaving but hey ho, we're all shattered and happy.
Can't think of someone to do the mini move on but thank you for it Jo, will have a think while I get the kids ready and into bed xx

    Evening all....

ready to strangle children... anyone want them before I do???? DD will NOT leave the poor cat alone, refuses to do what I ask of her and constantly asks WHY?? to everything.Grrr. Oh and DS, has been naughty at school again this week, this time locking another child in the garden shed... and then denying it even though he was seen do it . Is there a full moon at the moment just over my house??

Apart from that the sun is shining, its lovely and warm..

Mabel - too hot? what are yuou going to be like in the summer??! :rotfl:

Hey to everyone else.... sorry if I missed you.

mambury she will be the teenager who when the government want her fingerprints or the school say you can't do that combination of subjects will say "why" and you'll be glad of it.
I think you want her to grow up to question and not just follow blindly but the challenge is to find a balance that you can both live with. not easy.
can you give her jobs to do for the cat like feeding or making sure others don't tease and chase the cat or get some toys that she can engage the cat with in a positive way.
Why lasted a while with us to and felt endless at the time. hugs

I don't mind her questioning and you are right, I do not want to her to blindly follow but she is just saying why for the sake of talking! She doesn't even listen to the answer!! :D
Right.... off to stare blankly at the tv for a while

sorry mambury shouldn't laugh but just picturing the situation and recognising it. sometimes DS asks me something 4 times before he stops still long enough to listen to the answer.lol
