    !

For the speeding part probably. Then you will have the CBT bit to add possibly.
  • Riding without cbt means no licence and invalid insurance, prepare for a ban.

It seems plod did not check your licence details properly. You might be "lucky" and get away with a fixed penalty.

If I done my cbt now do u think I might get away with it?
  • You'll probably 'get away with it' if you do the CBT now, but consider this: when you took out your insurance you must have declared a current CBT, and the date of the CBT.

If you're involved in an accident, even with a new CBT, the insurance company could argue that your insurance is invalid because you didn't tell the truth at the time you took out the policy. (NB I don't understand the bit about 'excepting the insurance letter').

As an aside, for the £100-plus you pay each time for a CBT you could have paid for training and your test by now - and got cheaper insurance to boot.

In your OP you say they caught you for speeding and no cbt??

Did the policeman actually say anything about the cbt?
