TalkTalk saying they own PlusNet

Hi Team,
Just though I would let you know that TalkTalk are poaching from PlusNet by telling potential customers that they now own PlusNet
One of my customers who was with BT for her land line and PlusNet for her broadband has been transfered over to TT without the need for a MAC. They also said that she did not need to pay a cancellation fee for the 6 months (I think) remainder of her 18 contract because they "own PlusNet".
I have posted these questions on the excellent ThinkBroadband forum and the resonses tally with my thoughts. ie TT are lying through their teeth.

That happens all the time lol... And it isn't just Talk Talk. I work in telecoms and I hear people every day in the same scenario. Being honest it normally tends to be Talk Talk or small unheard of telecoms companies doing it.0
