Just in case anyone was interested in the outcome
I just got a call and rescuemycar.com have offered an out of court settlement :-)
They are going to pay to repair the damage & replace the missing bits
Annoyed that they were so ignorant & un helpful in the first instance, they just bluffed & !!!!!!!!ted for weeks,I will never use them again that's for sure

So relieved just waiting to get it in writing

Im pleased to hear that, well done for persuing it. Companies rely on people accepting what they say, and not challenging, I think you were right to persue it, and although it must have been a pain and on your mind alot, you have your money back:T

What does you policy say specifically about keeping the car in secure areas? Does is say that they will move it there within a specific timeframe?
You state that you never would have left the car there but what would you have done if when they told you that the car had been moved they had admitted that it hadn't been? It was broken so you couldn't have driven it away I assume?

Don't get me wrong, I completely agree with you & think that they are liable but just want you to consider all the questions that may be raised.

Allocation Questionnaires are pretty standard documents, you don't have to state your case in them so there is not any wording to be considered. They're really just administrative tools to let the Court know what the position is & enable them to deal with the claim appropriately.

    I am thrilled

It is the practise of all the recovery agents (they sub contract) they use to securely store your vehicle until repatriated
They are in the wrong because they instructed the recovery man to off load it in the car park and leave it,it turns out because they wanted a cheaper company to do the rest of the job
But then they didn't book the second company until days later
They lied and admitted that in writing.
Lets hope they are more careful with future customers cars and that they provide the service they say they offer.
I only took it out because it was one of Martin's money saving suggestions,I am going back to the AA.
