Tried opening a hi-save fixed rate bond account with them OK, they said that they needed photocopies of either passport or driving licence, and bank statement and to get someone to verify that these were signed for by someone with some authority i.e. solicitor, MP or MEP etc.... 1st occasion: the person who signed for it…

ICICI were bearable as long as you kept your account active and didn't need to talk to them. I closed my account eventually but had a big problem getting the final tax certificate AND they kept on reinstating the DD to my linked bank account.
