I got the online confirmation and booking res no.I paid £1 for double room on a saturday night wow !!

Still no e mail though after 9 hours.I did however check my reservation no online and it confirms it all.Is it poss that there are no e mails for all ?

i also would like to know what a pret lite breakfast is?! by the sound of it, i'll be quick marching to the nearest cafe for a full english!

maybe you made an error on entering your email account?? I got mine immediately after reserving.

i rang up and was told that the reservation did not go through.

However i booked again and this time got my reservation, email and all.

Very happy with £87 for 3 nights in London.

I managed to book a double room for 29th & 30th September at £1 each, but as separate one night bookings. I have just read the details in the email confirmation -

Daily Rate: One Pound Rate -- Rate inclusive of Lite Pret Breakfast, free WI-FI and VAT. This rate has a maximum stay requirement of 1 night. This rate is non commissionable to travel agencies.

Has anyone else done the same? I phoned up to confirm the reservation as initially I didn't receive the confirmation email and they checked my booking and no-one said anything. Do you think they will try to charge the full room rate for the second day?

Possibly. Why not just you book in on the first day , sneak out without them spotting the person going with you and then get the other person to check in again later that day(and hide!). Worth a go . The worst that can happen is that the charge £29 -£59 and if they do charge the latter i would just go home early!
