keep checking different dates, a lot of the weekends are gone now. I had the same problem as you but finally managed to book a friday night although hubby is being awkward about getting the sat off work. Not impressed, we have only ever had 1 night alone & that was our wedding night. I managed to book fri 29th sept & our wedding anni is sat 30th.

I'm disappointed, I logged onto the website at 8 this morning and made a booking for 02/09, only to get an 'invalid rate' error message. Now it appears that there's no availability for those dates, and the website has no record of the booking - have called them but I won't hold my breath!

Nope, cant find any Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun weekends in Sept, Oct, Nov or dec, for £1, will try again tommorow.
