Is it possible to have 1 room for 2 adults/2 kids (like Travelodge). Not sure I would want my kids in a room alone (even if its £1)

Thanks so much for this - have just managed to book a double room for the night of September 23rd. We wanted to go to London that weekend to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary, and now we can do it in Money Saving Style!

Martfox, from Kings Cross, get the northern line to Old street (about 5 stops away) and get off there, I think the hotel isn't too far from there.

One word of warning though, Old Street tube station has EIGHT different exists, so check which one you need.

    HTH's.
