A small amount of the money that I might never have got back if it wasn't for you has now been donated to the NSPCC on your behalf.
Again, with deserved thanks.0 -
Congratulations - a great outcome. I echo Clutton's post. Just enjoy your money and do whatever you want with it.0

I can assure you that the rest of the money (which feels like profit, but was only ever our own in the first place!) will be used wisely.
However in recognition of the help you gave, a small donation will be made to a charity of your choice, or one of our own if you would rather decline. It's totally your call, N79.
(No pun intended)

I've been out of the UK for too long to really know any UK charities so please feel free to choose. Thank you for the kind thought.0 -
We got our money back and two charities have now been donated to - a successful end to the thread, and I hope this helps gives confidence to others in a similar situation in the future.0
