I was referring to an earlier post about the A&L Mini Cash Isa paying 5.40%. There is a charge if you transfer out so it's not that good a deal.

What p***es me off with the A & L is, the lack of cashiers they have working. I was in 6.4.05 mid morning, 2 cashiers at the desk with a queue of approx 10 people. They had 5 people selling ISAs. 20 mins of lunchbreak wasted. GRRRRR
Every day above ground is a good day.

    A&L T&Cs 5.5:http://www.alliance-leicester.co.uk/savings/isa-tscs.pdf
said "If You wish to transfer the funds in Your Account to an ISA at another financial institution,an exit charge, as detailed in our Tariff for Additional Services, may be payable. This will be withdrawn from the total balance on the Account unless You have already made a payment through an alternative method that We have agreed."
it says that only when you transfer your ISA to another this exit fee will incur.
    am I get it right?
