As I understand it suspending or delaying the appointment until a later date is allowed but waiving it completely isn't. In my case the response I got when I rang was only a whisker short of accusing the people responsible for the legislation of being complete morons. There isn't even an allowance for them to waive the interviews if the claimant has legitimate reason that would limit the requirement for them to seek work e.g. a baby.

Hi everyone,

I just dont see the point of me going to these appointments so they can help me find a job when I already have a job. I would have thought this was a ligitimate reason for not attending the appointments. But hey hoo who are we to argue with the powers that be. Anyway no point in worrying about it till I go to the ATOS medical next Monday. Maybe they will agree with me. HA HA. The lady I saw at the Job centre at my last appointment agreed with me that it was a waste of time.

Hi everyone,

A wee update after my ATOS medical on Monday.

Answered all the same questions that I answered 4 weeks ago. Seems a waste of time and money to me. Will wait and see what the out come is. I am watching TV progamme just now about ATOS.
