What Foundation Do You Use?

What foundation do you use?

I'm currently using Lancome Teint Udole Ultra but after a few hours of wear my face is all shiny.

Maybelline Minerals liquid foundation or the satin finish foundation, bothgreat and match my skin tone. I also like the Bobbi Brown compact (again has my skin tone) but get the feeling my skin doesn't match it.

Maybe take your foundation back to Lancome and explain it does not match- it left your skin looking shiny. Its not stated either way but many companies will take back products if they have advised them to you and they don't work out. I have been able to do this after being advised items from Origins, No.7 and Lush.

The 3 foundations I like most are:

1.Maybelline Pure Makeup Foundation- this is very reasonably priced and gives a lovely light to med finish. Def a good product.
2.Fleur De Mer Foundation Cream 30+- brilliant stuff with the added bonus of sunscreen.
    3. Everyday minerals- this is an excellent mineral range and very reasonably priced.

Revlon colour stay for combination skin in ivory, its the best foundation I have ever used, makes me flawless and stays like it for the whole day! Cheaper than what I was using too!

    Greetings MrsE.

First bottle of Smashbox still going strong! I used Boots Intelligent ages ago, so I will give it another go.Like the smell too.

Nearly all my foundations as follows:

Smashbox Halo-nice,but tend to dust over liquid foundation,
MAC Studio Stick NW20 - nice but expensive for what you get,
Guerlain Parure Aqua 03 - love it, but v expensive - BF bought me some more,
Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich Warm Sand - OK, but won't be re-purchasing,
MAC Studio Fix, again NW20 - OK, but won't be repurchasing. When I go to MAC counter I always say I've forgotton shade, but they always match me up with NW20.
Maybelline Dream Satin liquid- Sand. It's great for everyday. Not bad at all.

Edit: Chanel Pro Lumiere. Bought wrong shade -Naturel, but it's too dark. So I mix it with some other.

Can anyone suggest the correct shade given the shades I use for the other?

Also used Estee Lauder in the past and I might buy some more again when the others are used up.

I tried that years ago and it made my skin feel very tight. My mum loves it.

I'm currently using Maybelline superstay 24 hour foundation. Very impressed with it.

Also love Tesco's Babara Daly oil free foundation

I use Max Factor colour adapt and love it, but I can go shiny quickly if I change my moisturiser, this may be a factor in the shiny face! And as I am using all of my products up before buying new ones, my moisturiser is changing regularly, some are worse than others.

I switched to Chanel Teint Innocence when it first came out and it's fantastic. It would take a lot for me to swap now. It's not cheap (I've bought my last 2 duty free to be honest, paid £17 for 1st one and around £22 for the last one) - but it is value for money because a little goes a long way
Good wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.
