Well as the title suggests, I have had thrush since last Thursday. I have used the internal cream (sorry if tmi:o:o) and the fluconazole tablet and whilst I do not feel as itchy down there I still feel like I have it..........
It is about 8 years since my last bout of thrush but I am pretty sure it is the same thing and my symptoms have lessened. Plus I rang NHS direct and they advisd that all the symptoms point to thrush.
Does it normally take this long to go or should I be treating myself again?

I thought you were supposed to continue using the cream until the symptoms had gone completely. Are you doing that?0

It said to use the whole amount of cream (the internal one not the external cream) in one go (as advised by pharmacist and on packet)
They said that I wouldn't need both creams as I also took the tablet0 -
In that case I'd consider taking another tablet and seeing whether that knocked the thrush out for the count. I haven't suffered from this for a really long time now but I do remember how completely ruddy awful it was.0

Oh...i thought this was a discussion about vintage TV series...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Man_from_U.N.C.L.E.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
If you have a partner they should be treated, actualy anything that comes into contact with you down there should be IYKWIM.
I hope you get it sorted out soon, it's really terrible.0 -
It is horrible I had it for the first time last month, I put soap down there (stupid I know) which caused it0

Apparently coloured toilet roll can trigger it off if you are prone too.0

Oh it's you Bubby, are you still run down? Thrush does seem to come on when you are.
Also antibiotics are a big culprit, before I had my bladder sorted out I was in a constant cycle of cystitis - antibiotics - thrush.0 -
Oh right, blimey. I was shocked how much the caneston stuff cost £12! And there was only one tablet and a tiny tube of cream. Luckily it cleared it up! Was horrible though as it itched like crazy and sorry TMI but where all the same? It smelt! Yuk!0
