Hi - I have just bought this

http://www.marksandspencer.com/M-S-Multimedia-System/dp/B002F78EPY?ie=UTF8&qid=1272991240&categoryNodeID=&ref=sr_1_1&page=&node=42966030&sr=1-1&mnSBrand=core&rh=

The speakers connect to the woofer via speaker output

the controller (pyramid thing - just does volume) connects to woofer via 9 pin plug like monitor plug.

ther's a 3.5mm stereo aux jack on the woofer or pyramid so u can connect the sound.

Now guy on the feedback on the m n s site says he connected via scart and i wanna know how i would do this or if any alternatives to connect to tv rather than single line headphone feed

cheers

Get a red and white audio cable from asda plug the red and white into you dvd and the other red and white into your tv and then turn on the tv and then turn on your dvd play. Turn the tv sound down and should work :)

So the input on the M&S system is a 3.5mm stereo jack?

What connectors do you have on your TV?

If the three audio jacks include a pair of stereo outputs, then a twin phono to 3.5mm jack lead is all you need.... if these are only inputs TO to the TV, then get a SCART to phono adaptor, and plug the aforesaid lead into this.

When you finally get it up & running, report back and let us all know if it's REALLY an improvement on the TV's own sound.....

Kewl i will try this i know the lead u r on about.

I was wondering if the 9 pin plug would work as its only really conneted to a volume up n down unit which also has a 3.5 mm jack on it for extra speakers, maybe i could take this off n connect the 9 pin point to the tvs 9 pin point?

    Thanks 4 ur advice btw

Without knowing what the pin assignments are on both units, I wouldn't.....
