Olive, you're there! Can you post a definition of what the orphanage does, so I can post correctly on freecycle - "a day care centre for child-led and granny-led families affected by AIDS", is that what you wrote?

Yawn!
Still, at least it's learnable if you have a system! Go redlady go
Oh, no, I said I was good at it. I didn't say I enjoyed it!!That is why my job title is Senior Management Accountant and NOT Senior auditor!! :rotfl:
well, back from my presentation, and I am very pleased with it. :j I think I totally rocked, but seeing as i have asked them for feedback, I will wait and see what they come up with and then decide whether I rocked or not! :T They seemed to respond to all the issues I raised, and got quite excited when I said I wanted our school to be the best in the University and what I thought that meant. Yay me.
And now, to celebrate, I am leaving work and running some errands in town before I go to choir practice and sing remarkably high with something approaching accuracy! I hope!:D

I'm back later
Web-site definitely about to be constructed!
Company not only sponsoring it, but also providing a graphic artist (is that right?) to do their stuff :j in designing it
May even use company in the UK, especially their charitable arm so that we can have a JustGiving page :j (saves registering another charity in the UK)
What you have quoted is their entry on an AIDS charity directory.
They also say:
Identification and support of orphans and vulnerable children.
Which includes the day care centre and after school support (meals, homework club etc)
Thanks for all you're doing!0 -
Hi all,
I've been away on holiday for 10 days and can't believe how much has gone on here, it will take me days to catch up!!
Had a lovely break with oh and baby son, lots of travelling so I have finalised my new business plan, in my head anyway!
I have pmed you MG with my details as I hope I can join in with the dreams to reality list.
I am looking for other teachers - any subject - who would be interested in tutoring, and clients - people who need tutoring.
I have lots of contacts from networking, and hope I can help others to find contacts as well...
Loving the positivity on this thread and just wish I had more hours in the day to read - and act upon it!

They get something out of it too
The key is to find out what they need (in this country, to win major projects you must prove you're supporting the country too) and exploit their need.
(that sounds mercenary, what I meant was I showed them an easy way to earn their points)

Thats great Olive! Okay, I'm off to post on my new freecycle group ....
By the way - I'm not enrolled in the Rich Dad Poor Dad coaching schemesurprise surprise...... full version on my thread, but basically (as he said, actually) we aren't a match
:D:D If someone wants to charge me money and won't tell me how *much* they're going to charge me, then no matter what they're promising, I'm not in ..... And you'd think I'd announced that I'd like to live in the gutter. Very weird. Very satisfying to have it out of the way tho.
