  • What did I get. Two boys, no father and no wider family support..............but do you know what?? My boys are the biggest blessing the universe could have sent me - they have taught me how to love and be loved by Men in the most pefect way. They have taught me that men can be kind and generous and loving and sweet. They have taught me that I can be independant, and resourceful and creative ................. and I wouldn't change one moment of a pretty horrible chilhood if it meant spending a second less with them. They are my teachers too.

    ;)

Memorygirl... still catching up . But just got to say this made me cry and I am at work pretending to work:(. I think you are truly wonderful and I am only on page 8 or 9..... by the time I catch you up I might even love you!;)

Now off to see if what happened with the school:D
  • Just received my book, many thanks. Initial thought, it looks well set out. Love all the diagrams, colour and size of print, it will definitely hold my DD's attention for much longer than a dull black and white book would have.
Well done on all you have achieved to date.
You are completely inspiring me. Have been meaning for so long to put together ideas/actions needed for new business, life after the children have gone to Uni etc etc....and now it’s suddenly taking shape. Hoping my momentum continues and for all the others, who have found that "push" they needed. Thank you.

Have PM'd you re books, money transferred so I hope it arrives Ok.

Have just put breadmaker on - its going to take a while to catch up on the blog but I will persevre - it all makes so much sense.

    Off for 15 mins sorting!
  • the weather cannae make up its mind what it wants to do - i have rescued my washing three times now, so if its not dry, its never gonna be.

but the good news is that i have worked out how much i think i still owe the big horse bank on the personal guarantee. this of course doens't include any interest that they may be charging because i can't get a straight answer or a statement out of them. Anyways the good news is that my original £10,000 now sits at £3911.75 - or 12 monthly payments of £330 :j:j

so whilst i was in a great mood i decided to complete one of mr b's tasks that he sent me. He asked me to imagine the two places i would most love to present a seminar - and although they have to be in the uk - the more unusual the better.

well, i think he was expecting me to come back with "hello wembley!!!!!!" :rotfl::rotfl: but actually what i plumped for was

    1. the eden project - just because how fantastic would that be speaking in those biomes????

    2. in a big museum where they run one of those "night in the museum events" - you know where the kids come in , they attend a presentation, get fed pizza and pocorn, watch a movie and sleep in their sleeping bags in the museum overnight.

that would be cooler than a cool thing on - erm! cool :rotfl::rotfl:

and ds1 would think i was the bestest mum on the planet ever.

thing is i do't know which of the museums run these programmes - so does anyone know??? i think it could either be the natural history museum or the science museum:D

bTW - three weeks ago i was wondering if i could find a few kids and teach them at my kitchen table - amazing what happens when you broaden your horizons.:j:j:j

Off to do the school run and othe rmummy stuff.

  • Hi MG

My kids did an overnight visit to the Science Musuem in London would be about 5 years ago now - they really enjoyed it.:)

Still busy working on my idea but a few things seem to be falling into place and a number of things are literally falling into view what I like to call Godincidences but have yet to read the secret (it is being dispatched today) so maybe I am putting things out to the universe as well! :T

The best thing is that the most negative influence in my life at the moment is about to disappear and hopefully today :j:j:j

This was on my list of my most pressing wants but even I am surprised how quickly it has happened so I am one very happy and motivated DT.

  • Hi MG

I have been following your debt free diary for a while now and only occasionally post a reply.

I was wondering how I could get a copy of your book and how I would go about paying for it?

I am based in Dublin, Ireland and only new to mind mapping but i'm starting university next week and could do with some help, as I'm a total beginner. Studying Literature in English and History.

You can PM me if it suits
