Which Banks/Building Societies belong to the same groups?

I am sure I have read some where on the site an article showing which banks/building societies are linked to each other. I'm looking for a new credit card so would appreciate if anyone can help me find the information about various banks/building societies.

Bradford & Bingley sold its savings business to Spanish bank SantanderDerbyshire and Cheshire building societies merged with Nationwide on 14 December 2008. Lloyds TSB has taken over HBOS to form Lloyds Banking Group.
