New combi boiler but hot water pressure problems

Yes but dont forget,OP will lose some pressure upstairs simply becuase of loss of pressure in shoving the water uphill!
If the flow was ok when OP had a tank...bearing in mind the only head available was that supplied by the CWST.then its down to mains pressure and/or combi setup.
Was the main cold water tank in loft,on first floor or combined with the hot water tank?
You cannot fit a pump to the HW outlet of a combi..Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
Sounds like the combi performance compared to your old system is the issue.
There are combis about today that do address the flow rate issues you are describing, with preheated incomming cold, but they will never be as good as a well specified mains unvented system.
Water co's are only legally obliged to deliver 1 bar pressure and this can have big probs for combis and electric showers.
You can NOT pump downline from a combi, unless you wish to break the law and blow yourself and house up.
If you have low incoming pressure talk to the water co, they may do something but alternatively you can pump your incoming mains to boost pressure before the combi.0
