At the moment my tv/sky setup is:
aerial into sky box--RF2 out from sky box to upstairs bedroom where a y-splitter is used--from y-splitter to main bedroom and from y-splitter to another bedroom.
In the main bedroom i have the aerial connected to a Liteon dvd/hdd recorder and then to a freeview tv.
I live in the Anglia region at the switchover is in 11 months time.
At the moment through the aerial we only get about 13 digital channels.
What i would like to know is what setup will i need now when i replace my Liteon recorder.I use this to record from sky and from normal channels and i download a lot of stuff from the internet to watch on the dvd player.
I have not upgraded the aerial yet as some people in my street have a new aerial and dont get all the digital channels.
I would like to keep the same setup as now as i mostly watch tv upstairs.
I have seen freeview recorders but i may need one with a dvd in.
As reguards to the sky box if i change my setup will i still be able to control the box from upstairs and how will i connect it all up to work?
Sorry for the long post but there is so much to work out.
