I was once advised by an EA to hide behind the sofa when the landlord of the house I was renting was calling round, as the EA hadn't done his job properly! I did ask if that was his professional opinion - guess who I didn't use when buying the next house?Carolbee0

What EA's, they'll all go bust like last time unless they are owned by bigger organisations like the banks, who will just shut up shop.

The got in late last time :eek: There were plenty of Banks and BS bought up chains of EAs at the top of the market, then ended up closing them and selling them off. Alledgedly, one chain round here sold to a Bank or BS and was bought back by the original owners a few years later for £10m's less. Nice doing business with you
