Wedding dress woes :(............

Its gorgeous - don't involve them in your dress shopping....if it feels like "the one" then go for it!0

I like it too, you couldn't wear it with a big tum so I don't know what they are talking about myself.
I agree it needs accessories to balance out the top and a jacket/bolero would be ideal.Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0 -
You look really lovely, why not tell your family that you have picked a dress and you're not going to be revealing any details of it, it's a surprise for everyone then! (The biggest surprise is that they have already seen it but will have probably forgotten on the day and you can have a little smug chuckle at them!)Bump due 22nd September0

wow it fits you perfect, i would buy it! xYou may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0 -
You look beautiful in the dress and I think it may well be The One! I'd be tempted to tell your family that you're keeping the dress a secret so they can be surprised on the day, that way you'll have no scrunchy noses sewing the seeds of doubt to deal with! I think it will look lovely with a little bolero too.
We all think you look amazing so that should be enough to shut your family up! I agree that your best friend should be promoted to MOH!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Let me lay some facts down first.
I'm a 6'2" 18stone bloke who likes football, rugby and martial arts. Although I am by no means 'hard' i can handle myself due to martial arts training. I drink , quite a lot, play poker online and like a flutter or two on the horses. In short I am a blokey bloke, an alpha male. a meat eater.
Now for my point .....that dress is BLOODY GORGEOUS GIRL!!!!!!! and don't let anyone tell you any different. You wear what you feel good in. I will absolutely guarantee that if you listen to the others who are putting you off you will be full of regret. SO WHAT if it's £1000...that aint much for a wedding dress....and it's YOUR day.Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those affected (Benjamin Franklin) JFT96...YNWA0 -

Aww, bless you, what a lovely post!!
See Poppy, even blokes think it's gorgeous, so take no notice of your family!
Phythian, I will disagree with you on one point though, £1000 is a LOT for a wedding dress :DTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Right!....the wife has scammed me..... She paid over a grand and said it was a bargain.....actually she looked fantastic so I couldn't care less what it cost but I thinkI'll have a few words when I get home. After 4 years, is it too late to tell her I know her little ruse??
OMG!!!! How many more times has she done this:rotfl::rotfl::eek:Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those affected (Benjamin Franklin) JFT96...YNWA0
