LOL 02 declined me saying I already have a card with them
Scarey thing is I don't
There are a few reasons why you could be declined.
(1) You've owed money to someone in the RBS group
(2) You've got a fraud flag on your credit file
(3) The mobile number has been used to order a card already.0 -

(3) The mobile number has been used to order a card already. YES
But the point is why have I been declined when neither of the first two apply?0 -

I would totally agree with you in principal. Unfortunately RBS do not.:o
I had a paypal top up card and managed to overdraw it by £100. It happens when a merchant takes too long to take the money out of the account, so it drops back into the card and is spendable. So when they come looking for it the card is overdrawn. I paid it back of course but just because its not a credit card doesn't mean that its fool proof.0
