    Hi All

Very new to this. Plan for today is to pick up my friend and go and find our local Aldi. She tells me they have good fruit and veg so going to see.
I have been to my parents this weekend so was very difficult to have NSD.
Have decided to put washing out on rotary dryer, just hope the showers stay away.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Right todays list

do something good with the kids - not sure what yet!!
order present for cousin but search around for cheapest price
    surveys
continue writing out my book of surveys site details so i don't forget anything
    check banking
    lunch from stores
    hokey cokey
update meal plan - when we went shopping bought a couple of bargains which would work out cheaper meals than some on the mealplan so will replace some meals!
Decide what to have for dinner - i forgot it was bank hol and i don't go to my mums on these mondays so our meal plan just says 'out!'
ironing - only what needs an iron!
    do some sort of exercise
package up ebay items that have been paid
update sig with ebay sales when i get on main computer

    Morning ladies!

    I have to ...
    • Write 3500 words for final assignment second half (first half all done and quite happy with it but this is wrapping up all of my "research" whilst in school) - won't get it all done but have to do at least half
    • Mark a load of books
    • Mark a mini project I set the kids (seemed like a good idea at the time!)
    • Start interview lessons - arrggghhh!
    .

Well 2 hours on and I've finished the marking and the mini project marking - wasn't as bad as I thought it would be thankfully!
Off to have a shower and destink me!

After a little chat with OH (now he's conscious!) I'll make a start on the big assignment.

Feeling much better thank everyone - I'm glad I'm not the only one that has an emotional paddy sometimes! Onwards and upwards!

well i don't know about mse spent £26 on taxis yesterday  after writing the car off on saturday and now have all that mess to sort no car, not that i would be driving i have a rather fetching cast on my arm and soo many bruises, but at least i am still here:)

OMG SFRD you ok? I wrote my car off in December and it really messed with my head for a while there, flashblacks of what could have been/irrational fear that every lorry on the road was out "to get" me. Its ok now, but I never drive faster than 60 now. It was a pain in the neck with the insurance, I had to keep on at them but got a good payout in the end. But ended up having to put another car on the cc and increased debt, so started off Jan in a dire financial situation. Don't accept first offer! (cheeky ins comp tried to tell me the payout would be its value after the accident i.e. scrap value , obviously i put up a fight!) care good care of urself xxx

    Hello all,

I hope everyone feels better soon! I still feel rough but will go on!

    I have:

emailed a friend who lives abroad
    done loads of comps

    I will:

[STRIKE]Vacuumed my car then it started to rain so couldn't do OH car
    Enter more comps
    See to pets
    Take rubbish out [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Cleaned bathroom
    Vacuumed downstairs
    Dusted the house
Went into the city and had a few drinks and was supposed to go to the cinema but it didn't work out, ie complaint email I sent when I got home[/STRIKE]

Hope everyone has a good day!
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T

morning - again girls, wrote a list before getting ready for work and then my comp played up and I lost it!

So last night my dd sat and wrote a list of the things she will need for the baby, this freaked her out completely and she has absolutely no money and even though she has brought her sights down and is prepared to get secondhand/free things it was quite a realisation for her. As well as the pregnancy hormones she is depressed naturally (I wouldn't be surprised if she had early onset Bi-polar). I sat with her and we joined freecycle/freegle/netmums and looked on ebay. Emailed a few ppl with free/low cost things. Tried to reasure her we will support her and we have enough time and money to get what is necessary, and that any decison she makes it will be ok. However last night and this morning she is realising she isn't financially in any position to have a baby and is leaning towards termination, although her thoughts change on this on a daily basis.

    Ok today:
    • [STRIKE]any surveys available[/STRIKE] - just done a media transfer one up to 80points, payout is 100!
    • [STRIKE]leftover lunch[/STRIKE] opps have eaten it already!
    • have found 3 jobs I'm going to apply for :D (I need less responsibility/hours)
    • make up mil's present (wasn't able to yesterday as it was raining cats and dogs)
    • go for a walk with oh after work if its not raining... way too cold and raining :(
    • watch film tonight for free entertainment/maybe scrabble (I beat oh the night before last!!!)
    • feeling very energetic after work, think I'm going go do some re-potting ;)
I had a dream the other day that I had got a cocker spaniel puppy - I want one so bad! In terms of time and difficulty how hard is it?

Yesterday bought tickets for oh & I for a festival next month as it was 2-4-1 :D

that's it,better get on am at work right now but don't get paid overtime .

    Happy Monday everyone xxx

Savingforarainyday - glad you are OK.

I saved up all the small shower gels from a hotel (they gave you two a day and I've had several days there) then decanted them into an old handwash bottle. Only about 1/3 full, if that, but it is free so who cares? I'm contemplating topping up with water (not the remaining 2/3 :D just a generous slug of water) to make it go further. I thought free handwash would be very MSE :D

DH wants the small bottles for a craft project, so a very MSE use of free items.

Now I need to do studies and make food.
