I'd also recommend sticks like sh*t but I've also had petty good experience with Serious Stuff. They both look very similar though - is it the same stuff?0

Sticks like sh*t is excellent stuff, although a bit more pricey I use it all the time.
Try and avoid the solvent based instant grap adhesives - may as well use decorators caulk in my opinion.

Couldn't agree more.
We tried out some of the gunnable adhesives to fix skirting and decided that it is better ( where the skirting is to be painted ) to drill , plug and screw with countersinking so as to allow for the screw heads to be covered with filler.
It doesn't take too long using cordless drivers, it pulls the skirting tight to the walls - the skirting itself and the walls are often not straight - and it allows you to remove the skirting in case you need to make any adjustments.Forgotten but not gone.0 -
