    Sorry Ive been AWOL again! Pigpen, you have permission to fling as many mules as you feel like in this direction as my attendance has been appauling.

    Hope all the usual suspects and my lovely flyladies are well, especially Toots. Mum is here with me still, and is now thinking of moving here permenantly so we have been busy sorting lots of stuff for her and trying to fit her into our house which had too much carp in it in the first place.

    Ive also been without a laptop, as suddenly my operating system disappeared and had to be sent back to Dell. Anyway, its fixed now, house is not exactly pristine, I dont have enough hours in the day and I need to have a major clear out so make room for Mum - so Im back!!!!

    Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Open the windows and turn on some music!
    Dust/polish grubby glass and mirrors and pictures.
    Declutter the chairs, floor and fireplace[/STRIKE]

    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Vacuum the floor now it is visible
    Pile all hotspots into one heap and sort through it all.. File/shred as appropriate
    Clean and defluff the fire.. arrange for chimneys to be swept if necessary and services![/STRIKE] Dont have a fire so defluffed behinds and middles of the radiators and cleaned them all.

    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
    Wipe sofas and dusty places
    HHC in the hallway.. sort those coats and shoes and mess!! Clear out handbags and schoolbags![/STRIKE]


    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]Freshen up any soft furnishings [/STRIKE]
    2. Binbag dance... grab a bag fill it and fling it!
    3. Check insurance policies/tax/mot etc to see when the renewals are up! - just need to check Home insurance renewal and add to diary..... I know its not soon, but just want to add it to my diary
    4. Wipe the woodwork in these areas
    Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Declutter and mop/vacuum floor
    Clear and wipe work surfaces[/STRIKE]

    Level Two
    Wipe units and large appliances
    Give one small appliance a good clean!
    [STRIKE]Wipe out the fridge and get rid of anything gross and slide the stuff that needs using now into your meal plan[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Wipe the table, replace the cloth if needed and dust and deweb![/STRIKE]
    Clean through the cupboard full of food.. what needs using soon? Cupboard contents have been used mostly and added to meal plan for the last few weeks, will clean the shelves this week once meal plan is complete before I finally have to do a shop....
    clean oven [STRIKE]and hob![/STRIKE]


    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]Clean a hotspot[/STRIKE] Top of Microwave
    2. Wipe down all the paintwork
    3. Wash the windows
    4. [STRIKE]Clean any pet bedding/poo trays/stinky tanks etc[/STRIKE]
    Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing

    Level 1
    [STRIKE]Check smoke alarms are working
    Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers.
    Fling open the window and let in the rain/sunnyness[/STRIKE]

    Level 2
    Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
    Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
    Air the duvet
    15 minutes floordrobe clearance
    Level 3
    Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
    Sort through a cupboard and find 10 things to get rid of!
    Freshen up any curtains or bedding that needs doing!

    Extras
    1. binbag dance
    2. Clean all the upstairs door frames
    3. Clean windows in these rooms
    4. Do half hour clearing of the place you hate doing the most..

    Bedroom refilled with ONLY things which are staying in here... the rest can be sorted through and flung/rehomed/stored as necessary!

    Evening! Some flying done so will find my list in a bit! I have made my lunch ready for the next 2 days. The kitchen is looking good but the rats are making a bit of a mess of the front room! Dad is going to make some plastic sides for the bottom of the cage to stop this (hopefully very soon!!)

    Big hugs to everyone. I really can't believe it's Thursday. So far I've just s/s'ed but I did do 8 loads of washing (that included all the caravan bedding / coats / trainers from a wettish but fun weekend away).

    Tomorrow I have some spare time so I'm going to try and gut a couple of rooms and, you never know, I might try to complete a list or two...don't hold your breath though!!!
