Oh well, according to DD, with my new specs, a pen behind each ear, a scientific calculator, books, papers, squared paper, a slightly deranged expression from the copious amounts of coffee I have been necking and two laptops in use at once, amidst this chaos, I look like a mad scientist as well.

Wish I looked as cool as Greenbee sounds.

[wanders off back to the world of quantum mechanics]
I also have two laptops on the go... a large print calculator (I find them hard to manage...) am 6000 characters short and my research database (which I write in) has just crashed on me as I thought I'd finally worked out what I wanted to say... however, I've been alcohol fuelled since 6pm so it's probably all garbage :o either way it needs to be submitted for review tomorrow, so I'll just have to deal with it.... oh... and the colleague I'm collaborating with has just turned into a pumpkin and gone off line (I expect his wife, not unreasonably, thought it was past his bedtime!)

I also appear to have a number of glasses and plates up here, as well as the wine bottle(s) :o so I guess once I've got through tomorrow I need to make some inroads into the flying...

Might as well go to bed now though. No database... no way of working really...

macpep1 I always make Twinks with marg...what went wrong?...if you dont mind me asking ?

The mixture was really soft and sticky and very very hard to work with (when it says flatten them with the spoon mine stuck to the spoon :rotfl:) and they didn't taste nice when they come out the oven, never had a baking disaster before so was most annoyed :o

    Morning All

Off to Liverpool today as an Inset day!
Evening! Some flying done so will find my list in a bit! I have made my lunch ready for the next 2 days. The kitchen is looking good but the rats are making a bit of a mess of the front room! Dad is going to make some plastic sides for the bottom of the cage to stop this (hopefully very soon!!)

Is the cage small enough to fit in a litter tray? You could buy a cheap litter tray and just put the cage in that to collect the mess.

Dad is going to make some plastic sides for the bottom of the cage to stop this (hopefully very soon!!)

My mum used to put my hamster cage in a cardboard box and then cut the front side of the box down so I could see the hamster, kept all the mess in and protected the little thing from the cold.

She also manged to toilet train it as well by but putting a glass jar in the corner of the cage with some wet sawdust and it used to have its wee's in there, that way I could wash out the glass jar (jam jar I think) very handy in the summer.

    Might not work with rats
