Wonder how long I can keep this standard up, since I've not been there since Friday might be a while :rotfl:
Hope all are well especially those with passengersToots, Lady Liberty and Lamewolf and Triker and Natty too...
Nice try Nutty - not being on the list doesn't mean a thing you still gotta fly ... you're one of use now, overtaken by the force.
Shame Pen's not around her economy gastronomy thread made the e mail:cool: clearly Martin likes posh grub!
And thanks, AnWs for the heads up on e bay - I have a little pile ready to go (but being of unsound mind and body I can only remember 1 item...and then I have to time to finish Sunday evening if possible...)
Now off to MrMs for cheap bog roll and value fabric conditioner;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Mr LW has had a weird letter, saying that he could be entitled to some money from the estate of a long-lost great-great-aunt who died 17 years ago, based on the fact that he was an executor for his mother's estate. It all looks genuine, and the facts that we're able to check all pan out, but it was a tad strange, out of the blue. I wonder, has anyone heard of a firm called Anglia Research, based in Ipswich? I've had a wee look at their website, and again, it looks OK; they claim to be specialists in tracking down correct recipients for unclaimed estates. But with so many unscrupulous people out there, you can't be too careful.;)
LameWolf - yep they do exist, I'm an Ipswich girl by birth and know the address and have checked it again on various Ipswich directories.
They do all sorts but tracking down potential heirs is one of their services - like "Heirhunters" on the TV. If someone dies without a will their money passes to the Crown - who publish lists of these things. Companies like this one try to track down the heirs and reunite them with the money - for a fee of course. Call them and see what they have to say - nothing to loose and maybe something to gain? Good luck!
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Evening
Just had a quick catch up after another looooong boring day at workI have electric green toenails and bright pink finger nails to go with my purple hair
I have also collected my suit from the dry cleaner and need to try it on. The dress I'd planned to wear for tomorrow's presentation needs taking in by several inches and looks like a sack. I may well need to try on the entire contents of my wardrobe tonight...DietCokeBreak wrote: »Hello... I'm new!! :hello:
I've just made my first ever post on the Getting to Know You thread and I though this should be my second port of call! I've lurked around reading MSE for a while but took the plunge today.
Housework and I have a love/hate relationship. It takes forever for me to get the motivation to do any but when I do I really go for it. I would love to be one of those domestic godesses who has a pristine house (or flat in my case!) that smells of fresh baked bread with homemade biscuits and treats always on hand, but at the moment if I know there are guests coming I spend the whole day before cleaning!
I work full time doing 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off so its going to take a little while to get in a routine but I'm ready to give it a go.
I think I need to do this ..... :xmastree: so you can see me!
Thank you for your help in advance!

macpep1 - hope you feel better soonHi all!
I'm new to these parts, having stumbled across you today. I haven't had the opportunity to read through everything fully because there's soooo much and I'd be very grateful if someone could help me out and will apologise now if the answer is here to be found somewhere
Housework and I will never walk happily off into the sunset hand in hand, so finding the "to do list" on the first post I'm hoping will help me get into a proper routine, but what I'm wondering is whether there's anymore to be added to the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday....like when do I clean my bathroom?
Here's hoping I may one day be on my way to being a domestic goddess :rotfl:
Thanks in anticipation!
