Can you add a big chunky belt at all?
Sadly not... it's a very plain black shift dress, and if I add a belt, you'll see all the excess fabric! Don't worry, I've got lots of work clothes.... something is bound to fit! And I'll just have to go shopping next weekend if I don't have enough to get me through my next multi-day business trip!

  • Hello... I'm new!! :hello:

I've just made my first ever post on the Getting to Know You thread and I though this should be my second port of call! I've lurked around reading MSE for a while but took the plunge today.

Housework and I have a love/hate relationship. It takes forever for me to get the motivation to do any but when I do I really go for it. I would love to be one of those domestic godesses who has a pristine house (or flat in my case!) that smells of fresh baked bread with homemade biscuits and treats always on hand, but at the moment if I know there are guests coming I spend the whole day before cleaning!

I work full time doing 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off so its going to take a little while to get in a routine but I'm ready to give it a go.

I think I need to do this ..... :xmastree: so you can see me!
Thank you for your help in advance!

    Allo All!

Toots what a flippin' nightmare re the hossy! I'm so lucky that Mr LW takes time off work to take me to my appointments; I'd go into meltdown if I was mucked about like that. I hope you're having a lovely restful day today, and doing things you enjoy.

I'm almost through today's list (tbh, lots of it was already done;)) I just have to move a plethora of dragons so that I can dust properly. Does anyone else have dragons in every single room, or is it just me?:D

Also need to do something about my legs. If I don't take the epilator to them soon, I'm going to get mistaken for my mate Kaya.

Going to declutter a banana first though I think.;)

Afternoon all, many, many thanks for your kind words. Well I have new:

DANNY HAS BEEN ON LINE!!!!! Hurrrrrrrahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

They went on a 6 hour patrol on Sunday and it lasted until today? Don’t ask, because I didn’t want to know and he can only say so much. They were besieged by little kids everywhere begging for food, he gave one of his food parcels to 3 little girls as they looked half starved and their translator said they had no parents, what a lovely boy I have raised, even though I say it myself. Then at night surrounded by the nasty men. He says that either the end of the week or beginning of next he will be living ‘in a hole in the middle of nowhere’ and doesn’t know for how long either. At least I will not wind myself up so much if I know he can’t get to the internet – ha, who am I trying to kid!

Sorry Piggers for no flying post.

Oooh I have flown, I s/s’d the kitchen this morning and went home a just a while ago to put a gammon joint in the oven on low, so will be ready when I finish work

Toots – that was horrendous of the hospital. Hope your throat is better today as well xxx
Jinkypoooooooooo – glad your Gran is doing ok

Apart from that I haven’t a clue what I have read, so sorry folks, but love and hugs all round for those that need/want them xx
