Ghost dual sim
Just found the above item, which looks as if it allows you to put 2 sims into one mobile and use either as you want. The website doesn't really explain though.

Anyone got one? Could you tell me more?

Can someone puncuate and translate

I'm looking for a dual sim holder as well, but unsure if I can have one, as my main network is 3 on a Nokia 6230. Anyone done this, and what product did you use?0 -
I think it also depends on what phone you have.
We had one that worked fine on a Nokia phone but we couldn't get it to work on either a Sony Ericsson K750 or a Samsung E3500 -
I use a dual sim (non cut) with a samsung d600. If you get the latest generation it will put an extra entry into your accessories menu. This is called the STK (sim tool kit) menu which, in turn, gives you various options;
Switch between
Sim 1
Sim 2
Slow
Normal
Express
Sim 1 and 2 are as it sounds, you manually select which sim to use. The remaining 3 options automatically switch from one sim to the other after a set time. I think the time delay is 5, 3 and 1 minute(s), but don't quote me.
The dual sim adaptor you have linked to is a 'cut' sim which requires you to butcher your sim cards. Depending on your mobile type, I would recommend the latest generation 'no cut' sim; just google it.
A dual sim adaptor does not allow both sims to be 'on line' at the same time.
Hope it helps
BTW, I'm very happy with mine, bought from ebay for about £5 if I remember rightly.0 -

Hi. I use an adaptor similar to this. As you can see, it has a ribbon between the two sim cards. One sim card goes into the 'phone' sim slot, I then folded the ribbon over so that it all fits under the battery. It is a bit of a squeeze, and the battery sits about 1/2 mm proud, but it does go.0

ive used these (looks similar to the one Zahc has)

works ok in 6230 but it would be a tight squeeze for a phone where the back cover is also the battery.
only problem i found is that it seems to drain battery quicker0 -
