My postman

Options
He came early this morning and posted letters. He came back at 10am to deliver a small parcel. He said he thought it was a bit early to knock on the door when he first came at about 7am, so he returned at a decent hour. How great is that :D

  • My postman is equally wonderful

As my postman had a parcel to deliver for me, he knew that I was at work he took it round to my childminders. I got to pick up two children + a parcel.

    How good is that

    Well done Rickmansworth post office

That's so good to hear :)

Our postie is really miserable. If he has a parcel, he rings the doorbell, rattles the letter box and then knocks really hard on the door - all in the space of about 10 seconds. When we thank him for the parcel, he doesn't reply or acknowledge us. If it's something to be signed for, we just get a scrap of paper thrust at us. He's soooooo rude!

At least he knocks on the door! We keep finding parcels left on the doorstep. I'm amazed that none have been stolen. And he keeps throwing bl**dy elastic bands on the grass too!!!

after yrs of getting our mail around 2.30ish we got a new postman abt 18 months ago and what a breath of fresh air he is .. nothing is to much bother. i tell him when im going away and anything that wont go through the letter box he takes next door. even taking things left that others have tried to deliver.. he keeps an eye on my house to make sure everything is as it should be .. ive got great neighbours and a great postie lol.. why am i thinking of moving away lol
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.
