The conservatives have no plans as far as I am aware to abolish tax credits, tghe only changes that have come to light will be for those earning 50K or more a year!

The conservatives are going to lower the threshold for claiming and quite rightly so.

Hopefully, they will also lower some other benefits as they are a disincentive to work, thereby only those that need benefit payments will receive them.
I hope he starts with housing benefit, which must be the biggest disincentive to work!

The conservatives are actually extremely Pro - family. They have no plans to change tax credits except to stop giving to those households earning over £50,000 a year as tbh they dont need it and its a saving to help pur economy. You have no need to be worried and they are not changing child benefit. As someone else has already posted they are targetting work shy benefit fraudsters e.c.t, something labour like to ignore. Its really funny how so many people think conservatives are bad for the average family, you should go on their website and read their manifesto. Ok so im quite clearly pro-tory, i am a mother of a toddler, baby on the way, SAHM, husband on £20,000 a year and totally belive they are the best to helping my family.
