Same here, I always put the sticker on the dashboard area so it doesnt leave a mark - some cars I have been in have lots of sticker marks on their vehicles and I think it looks a mess! Though you can get rid of them with nail polish remover or WD40Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
Yes I had the old 'ticket peeling problem' at Scarborough a couple of years ago. Took ticket straight to local police station and they advised writing to council with photocopy of ticket. Never heard anything back from them though. Now when we park there I put something under ticket to hold it in place like a jumper or something and put it really low down on windscreen.
Best of it was our ticket hadn't fallen on floor but just curled up a bit if he'd bent down he could've read it easily!Don't grow up. Its a trap!
Peace, love and labradors!0 -

How did he do it ? Road full of road works, so I came out of the car to see the notice, it was permit holders only zone, so I went to look at the next notice, in two minutes my card had a ticket. Ticket shows the time ( Car seen at 15:26 Offence committed at 15:31 )
but from 15:15 to 16:30 I was parked in the 2Hour parking zone. I cannot understand how this parking officer got the time completely wrong !!! Is time entered manually or by a hand held computer ?
Only way he could put that ticket on my wind shield, is he started preparing ticket while I made three attempts in getting in to narrow slot, so as soon as iwent to look at the second sign he slapped the ticket on, but discripancy in time is difficult to fathom. The photographs do not show the time on them. Well I wrote a letter to the parking dept. of the local council, and waiting of the out come.0
