iPhone alternative
Hi, my mum is wanting an iPhone but I'm not sure she needs to spend quite that much money.
The main attraction for her is web access. She might also use it for listening to podcasts or music. I can't see her downloading loads of apps. She needs a few hundred texts and a few hundred minutes, nothing out of the ordinary.
Can anyone recommend an alternative that has a good web browsing experience and is intuitive to use but is cheaper than the iPhone?

Thanks lucylucky - done some browsing, they do look good and better value than the iPhone. I'll make the suggestion to my mum, it's her decision in the end!0

Android phones are good, and offer a lot more freedom than iPhones.
However, if it was my mother, extra freedom on an electronic device would probably be a bad thing!0
