Hi
I have an unlocked dongle and a YOIGO sim that is data enabled. This is probably a long shot but can anyone tell me what the YOIGO settings are to get access to the internet please. The software that came with the dongle is Globe Visibility Connection Manager.
TIA

Found this page http://prepaid-wireless-internet-access.wetpaint.com/page/Spain+-+Yoigo
Headline is - set APN to Internet and leave name/password blank.0 -
Thanks - that works when I use the sim in my phone but for some reason didn't in the dongle. It was recognised and came up as YOIGO in the software but just couldn't connect
I just wondered if there was something else I was missing somewhere! 0 -

The dial number? *99***1#
Alternative Connection Manager0 -
Don't know the connection manager software you're using, but with my windows one (O2) you can store several profiles for different SIMs. It always tries to connect with the first one in the list, so need to shuffle around when changing SIMs.
A Spanish blogster has all sorts of connection set-ups - couple of them suggest changing the access number to *99***1# http://yoigo.blogspot.com/search/label/Configuraciones (search for 99)0 -
That dial number is the one that comes up already but I've checked the blog and linked through to a few more spanish sites. I've copied everything on to one document and will take it with me at the end of the month to try out again. Can't do anything whilst I'm here because YOIGO doesn't allow roaming - or mine doesn't anyway!

Thanks for the help and the alternative software it's much appreciated :beer:0 -
ahh now that one is different! Everything else I've ever seen has said to leave the username and password blank! Thanks :beer:0
