That sounds like a very good bargain. We switched to SKY Unlimited from AOL just a couple of weeks ago. Was £10.00 per month with half price reduction for 6 months. Have just heard the prices have gone up! can't believe my timing.0

Okay, if you want to be tied into a contract for another 12 months. However, what if some other stunning deal came along shortly after?. Hands up who'd be first in line to kick themselves!.
Personally, for £2.50 a month it is a gamble i'd hang onto, should a cheaper similar deal came along from another provider shortly after, i'll be free to migrate and take advantage.
In my experience, when companies start trying to tie in their customers to a new contract there has to be a reason. Maybe there are mumbles of an internet price war breaking out this summer?."Dont expect anybody else to support you, maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse, but you never know when each one, might run out" - Mary Schmich0 -
I got a letter from sky telling me sky everyday at £5 a month will be sky unlimited at £7.50 a month from September and I will have the use of sky player. I am not a heavy user so will hlave to pay £2.50 extra and do not have any choice, but it will help those who are and at £7.50 for unlimited is good.0

I have been with Sky for nearly two years;Sky TV/Sky Talk and Sky Broadband.I have found their service second to none.I have been contacted by Virgin offering their services.I told them that I had the TV package I wanted -can't stand sport and I am not bothered about movies-unlimited broadband (which is excellent) unlimited phone calls and line rentals. My bill is never more than £45-48 a month.Virgin admitted they could not match that. So I will be quite happy to sign up for another 12 months.I am a retired publican-so I have had Sky TV for many years and think they are the best by far0
