Off to Orkney

Hello everyone,
I haven't been on here much since before Christmas when I was given invaluable advice on getting my phone line reconnected free and got unlimited broadband from Be (absolutely superb) for £7 a month. So as I know it's such a fantastic site full of fantastic helpful people, I thought I may ask a few logistical questions about goods and services on the Orkney Isles. I will be moving to the Orkney Isles soon as I met a wonderful girl online and fell in love, this would never have happened if it were not for people on this site giving me that original advice about getting online at home! So, as a first question I would like to know how to go about getting a phonline and broadband in a house on Stronsay in Orkney, the house already has a phone connection point installed but no dial tone. Further complicating matters is the fact that I've got an 18 month contract with BT which I had to sign up for to get the free connection offer and a 12 month contract with Be Broadband, is it possible to get out of these contracts? Am I better off getting my girlfriend to take advantage of the free connection offer as I wont be moving in with her immediately? Will I be liable for charges upon leaving my contract early?? What's the best broadband on Stronsay? I spoke to Talk Talk who said that they weren't offering their £7 a month basic phone and Broadband package for Stronsay and that it would be £33 a month. Can I transfer my BT account over to Stronsay without incurring any costs? I appreciate it's a lot of quetions and thankyou for taking the time to read this and I thank people in advance for advice.

Stronsay is a Market 1 exchange with no LLU providers, so BE will not be available.
Tiny exchange, it will never be LLU'd.

You should be able to transfer your BT contract over but you may then have to pay for reconnection.
No, you can't get out of the BE contract, you will have to pay an early termination fee on that.
Your cheapest non-LLU broadband option is probably Plusnet Value at £12.99 (£6.49 for first 3 months, Quidco cashback also available). However this is a 10GB capped service.
TT Essentials package is charged at £15 extra on non-LLU exchanges, so not competitive.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
