I did the same yesterday........no not eat the whole chicken but:
My son was home on leave (in the paratroopers) and I cooked a huge roast dinner. I cooked an extra large chicken as well as a piece of beef (priced down on Friday night to a quarter of the price
).
Thinking I was the only one to eat the chicken and we could use the remainder for sandwiches.........but my son and his friends decided to demolish it ALL off last night on a late night scooby snack
.
The only thing in the cupboard now to eat in sarnies is honey or jam
for the next three days.
Oh, Sally how I commiserate with you!
My son is in the paratroopers too and he is also at home on leave and eating me out of house and home:eek: I blame the army for getting him used to 3 good meals a day and building him into a big, strapping lad:rotfl: :rotfl: Only kidding, I'm so glad he's home from 'foreign parts' safe and sound I'd happily go to Sainsburys every day if need be:p 0 -

I will suggest that to my mum. As my dad has a habit of munchies at suppertime and eating things that he she was going to serve up the next day.
I love it I think that it brilliant.
