Hi all. I have 13 days to go today... starting to panic a little bit but not sure why. Everything is done, just all the little bits left. Ordered M&S cakes at the weekend. They are on 3 for 2 at the moment so got a really good deal! :money: .

Does anyone have any advice for me RE eyebrow waxing... need to get them done but am only free this coming friday, or the day before wedding.... I'm thinking that the day before will be too close as they may still be red the next day, but if I get them done the week before, will that be too far in advance? Sorry if its a silly question but I've never had them done before!!!!!!

    xx

  • svjenni, it's forecast to rain this Saturday but I have decided it really doesn't matter what the weather does, it won't affect how amazing our day is! :D

5 days to go today, last day at work as well so I'm willing 5pm to get here! Just managed to sort out our disposable cameras so hopefully they will be delivered tomorrow. Still left to do: favours!! table plan, finish off attendants gifts and probably a million other things haha. Having my tan on wednesday hopefully, off to see SATC2 on Thursday and having my nails done friday. Can't quite believe it's so close! A lot of our guests are arriving on friday night as well so we are hopefully going out for a nice dinner with everyone that night. Soooooooo excited!!

ps. mrscoles2be, never had my eyebrows done either but I would imagine the day before is a no-no like you say xx

    Hiya

Not the day before if its your first time. I believe your reccomended not to wear make up for 24 hours after having it done either. Mine go red afterwards for a few hours but I have them done reguarly. On my first time they were red for about 24-36 hours! Hope that helps? x

    Hi all

I know I've been a bit quiet lately, but just thought I would let you know how our day went.

    Wed
Recieved my flowers from Triangle Nursery on wed morning, cost £95 for a load of flowers to make buttonholes, coursages and bouquets(I was quoted £240). spend nearly all day doing those. OH did all fetching and carrying with his parents.

    Thu(wedding day)
Woke up about 6.30 and sat around till about 9.30am thinking we should be doing stuff, but not knowing exactly what!!!
Hairdresser came at 11am , then all hell broke loose, and realised there WAS STUFF THAT NEEDED DOING.
Left house at 1.20pm for Sheffield Botanical Gardens for ceremony to begin at 2pm , which it did.
And can I say it was the most wonderful day of my life!!!!
Everything ran perfectly, the weather was beautiful and it was just fabulous.
All the people we dealt with were great, from the day and evening venues,( the photographer Zoe was especially wonderful) to even the PA hire for the evening disco.
Everyone keep telling us what a wonderful day it was :T
