Why are they worried if you are catering for 100 and you have 60 surely over-catering is better than under-catering?! Don't worry hun I'm sure it will be fine. Is this for the buffet? Our coordinator told us to only cater for 80% of guests as there is always too much food!

I think the insinuation was that we won't have enough guests - although there is no minimum number

Considering we were going to go abroad or go to gretna 60 odd is a lot more than the original plan

I wouldn't worry what they think hun. Doesn't matter whether you have 50 guests or 150 guests as long as you have who you want there, I'm sure you will have an amazing day!

And we have a gift list at John Lewis that opened on Friday (6 weeks before the day) and people have already bought us gifts. It's lovely and people are so generous; it's really touching.

got to work today and one of the girls says she may not be able to come after all and hopes it doesnt mess up my plans, of course it does, there are only 19 days to go! i have done the seating plans, sent them to the reception people, told the chair cover people, written the table setting things etc etc etc but she says she is not sure so will let me know for def' tommorow, great.

also my bridesmaid pressy arrive damaged, i sent it back for a replacement and also emailed them to say, please send it asap as its for the wedding, they replied today with oh sorry they are all out of stock now. so i have to find something else for my very very picky bridesmaid.

I break up from work for 3 whole weeks tomorrow :j

My Chief BM and I fly out to Spain on Tues and then my OH and future step-daughters all fly the following Sat. Over the space of 4 days we've got 55 friends and family flying in! I think it will be a very busy week or so, to be honest I can't wait to marry Si and then reeeeelax.

It's shocking how quickly its all come round!

And we received our first pressie yesterday - That was really exciting!

H2B has been in hospital since Sunday. He has an infection and they haven't been able to kill it with antibiotics yet - hopefully the new ones he's on now will work. When I took him to A&E his temperature was over 40 and his heart rate was 130, and they took him straight into Resuscitation. :eek:

Wedding three weeks tomorrow. Am still assuming it'll go ahead and trying not to think about the possibility of having to postpone. More than anything though I just want him well, and home. He was so ill the first 24 hours I was scared witless.

Herbiecat - OMG!!! Bet that makes it seem so close! I don't finish work until 2 weeks Tuesday but I am really looking forward to having 3 weeks off

I feel like I'm running out of time to get everything done! Just want to pause time for a couple of days :eek:
OH's stag do on Saturday so I am spending the weekend with my mum and DD

I've had major stresses last 2 weeks. Bridesmaid dress was too short, i'm still having people who RSVP'd saying yes they would come now umming and ahhing...:mad:

Had my final fitting today..... so can't lose or put on weight!
